Official Rules for Selling/Leasing/Auctioning on Equus United
The only rules that will be enforced by Equus United are the ones that have been set by staff, members will have to enforce their own rules.
Please note that the seller of the horse may choose to waive any of these rules, buyers must follow the rules set by the seller of the horse as agreed upon at the time of purchasing the horse.
You may not alter the horse’s conformation or coat without the permission of the seller.
You may not offer copies of the horse for download. The only exception to this rule is in the case of leases and breeding contracts.
You should offer the seller/breeder the option to repurchase the horse if you no longer desire to keep it before you may sell it on to another member. We all want to know where our horses end up!
In order to reclaim a horse from another member you must be the original owner of the horse.
The basic rules of Equus United have been violated, and the seller/breeder has proof
Horses that you have sold can be reclaimed due to inactivity. Inactivity is defined as no activity from the member for 4 real life months. This means no posts on the forums or no logins on the forums for at least 4 months.
